Meet Emily Lyman, NorMed Sales Representative

Emily Lyman is one of the people that makes NorMed's sales and service extraordinary.
"My job is to prospect and serve accounts, develop new business and close sales," explains Emily. "I keep busy, which I love, and because we have great products and a very collaborative work environment I enjoy coming to work every day,"
It Starts with Recruitment

"I initially interviewed for an inside sales position. Through our discussions, the job was reworked and I was offered a position that was better suited to my skills and experience," explains Emily. "They work to make sure all their employees are placed where they should be based on their strengths."
Collaboration and Support: The Basis for Long-term Careers
As the lead salesperson for NorMed, Emily spends time on the road, but manages most of her accounts from the office.
"In my past sales positions, I spent most of my time on the road, so I didn't have much experience with an office environment," said Emily. "But I enjoy the people I work with and our CEO and COO are always open to listening to opinions and ideas to make the business better. It is the type of environment where you can walk into your manager's office and ask questions or share an idea. They have a very open door policy."
NorMed's open door management encourages employees to make NorMed their career, with some employees spending 20 years or more with the company.
"I knew when I interviewed that NorMed was the right choice for the next step in my sales career," said Emily. "They let me think independently, but are always available for help or questions. whatever you need to succeed."
